ELECTRICAL QA/QC FIELD INSPECTOR: Phoenix, AZ
Independent QA/QC Services is seeking experienced Quality Control Inspector to assist with the electrical department in the following:
Key Responsibilities
– Accurately interpret and read intermediate drawings & electrical schematics for inspection.
– Perform complex measurements with the use of all hand tools.
– Perform basic and mid-level electrical measurements.
– Perform general measurements using various mechanical and electrical tools.
– Oversee intermediate in-process, visual, receiving, FAIR (First Article Inspection Report), and
final inspection.
– Produce detailed documentation (Inspection Reports, punch lists, etc.).
– Work with the QA department to ensure that good quality work is always being performed.
Essentials Skills
– Knowledgeable and skilled in QA/QC work
– Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products required.
– Prior experience as an electrician.
– Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
-Leadership: Display initiative to follow up and resolve problems seen in the field and always
willing to bring ideas to the table
– Teamwork: Team player with a great attitude, Willing to learn and grow within their role.
– Attention to detail: High attention to detail is required to perform accurate measurements
and inspection of semiconductor equipment.
Qualifications
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– 3-5 years of experience as an Inspector
– Knowledge of all hand tools (Calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
– Electrical plan/schematic reading is required.
– 3-5 years’ experience in the electrical trade.
– OSHA 10 or 30 required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
– This position requires the employee to occasionally stand, walk, and be around the production
area.
– Normal to corrected vision is required.
– Various electrical and chemical environments.
– Experience level: 3-10 years in the electrical trades.
– Schedule: 8–10-hour shift (Overtime may be required).
– Work setting: In-person
– Construction site, North Phoenix, AZ.
– Experience: Experienced in electrical test methods: 2 years (Preferred)
– Construction: 3 years (Required)
– Quality inspection: 3 years (Required)
– Hand tools: 3 years (Required)
CERTIFIED WELD INSPECTOR: Phoenix, AZ
Independent QA/QC Services Inc. has an immediate opening in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area for experienced welding inspectors (AWS CWI) for the semiconductor/high tech industry. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting and qualified professional with at least five years experience with the inspection of process piping systems for the semiconductor/high tech industry. Job functions include welder qualifications, weld inspections as well as pressure test and completed system verification. All candidates must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel on the job site.
