Independent QA/QC provides a multitude of material inspection services to meet our customer’s needs. We can perform source inspection services at manufacture facilities as well as upon receipt of materials at the job site or contractor’s fabrication shop. Material inspection provides our customers with the assurance that materials and components meet all relevant specifications and codes prior to fabrication and installation.
- Review of manufacturing

- Performing measurement/verification of dimensional tolerances
- Surface roughness analysis
- Particulate analysis
- Mass spectrometry helium leak detection of tubing and components.
All measurement equipment utilized is calibrated to NIST traceable calibration standards.
Weld Inspection
Independent QA/QC employs a full staff of weld inspectors to meet your needs. All weld inspectors have been trained to ASNT-TC-1A guidelines, including additional certification from the American Welding Society’s CWI program. We are a supporting company member of the American Welding Society affording access to the latest codes, associated interpretations and the most up-to-date welding/inspection processes and methodologies within the industry. A comprehensive understanding of governing codes and customer specifications is translated into decisive interpretation and decision making in the field. This ultimately leads to faster, cleaner installations with less rework and scheduling risk. Independent QA/QC also offers video borescope weld inspection and documentation services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
We are hiring AWS Certified Welding Inspectors!
Independent QA/QC Services Inc. has immediate openings for AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) for the Semi-Conductor industry in the western United States. We are seeking highly motivated, self-starting and qualified professionals with at least five years’ experience relating to petroleum refineries or related facilities. All candidates must possess extensive knowledge of industry standards including AWS and ASME as well as being familiar with relevant NDT techniques and their application.Job functions include welder qualifications, weld inspections as well as pressure test and system verifications. All candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be capable of interacting with all levels of personnel on the project.
